Welcome to
The choir was the brainchild of local Derbyshire & Staffordshire composers Vicki Clemerson and Alan Barnard. They got together in 2017 to form a group dedicated to the performance of works composed and/or arranged by themselves.
Together, they offer a unique mix of songs ranging from arrangements of traditional folk songs to unique compositions that reflect the two composers' distinct personalities.

CHOIR ETHOS
This is very much that of a group of friends; as such we have no need of a formal committee. We believe that the benefits of this are demonstrated in the warmth and spontaneity of our performances.
CHOIR MEMBERSHIP
BY INVITATION
We aim for a good blend of sound within each voice group and overall within the whole choir.
REHEARSALS
These take place at Holy Trinity Church, Matlock Bath, where the choir also gives concerts, typically twice a year.
CONCERTS
These are generally local to Derbyshire, although other concerts have taken us to Nottingham and further afield to Yorkshire.
Performance enquiries from any quarter are always welcome and we always happy to do joint concerts.
